Here’s a little peak at how we do our cylinder and pistons for our customers and dealers. We do this to take out the guess work for our customers and to speed up Assembly time with our dealers.
Cylinders get bore then gets our custom 4 step honing while in TQ plates. After that rings get gapped while cylinder is still in TQ plates. Cylinders get washed and extremely cleaned. Our pistons get polished to remove any sharpe edges that will cause for a hot spot to start. By doing this you can lean harder on timing and fuel to get that Hp/TQ out of it. Cylinders and pistons get cleaned once more before putting Assembly lube on them. Rings get installed on pistons and lubed. 1 pin clip gets installed and info gets written down in box.
